Overview - RBAC
With a Role-based Access Control (RBAC) security model, Unravel provides advanced access control for administrators to restrict the views of Unravel UI and the access to app data based on the assigned roles.
Users are logged in to Unravel using one of the following authentication services:
LDAP: Users in the LDAP server are used for logging in to Unravel.
SAML: Users in the SAML server are used for logging in to Unravel.
AAD: Users in the Azure Active Directory (AAD) are used for logging in to Unravel.
Open: Users are created locally. You can use these users to log in Unravel.
Administrators can retrieve the user data from these authentication services and use this data to apply RBAC to the user.
